KTM motorcycles have made their name primarily with their off road bikes, but one of the most hotly anticipated sportbikes on the market for 2008 comes our way from this Austrian company. KTM is testing the sport roadbike waters with the 2008 RC8 which it recently unveiled at the Ascari racetrack in Spain.
In spite of being in development for five years since the first concept model was first revealed, this 1148cc twin cylinder superbike has kept its original overall look. The unique design looks aggressive, maybe too much for some people, but fits the mold of previous KTM motorcycles. With all the endless hype and KTM's reputation for producing well received motorcycles like the Super Duke 990, the RC8 already had created some huge expectation.
